Your music is moving, i have a real alter ego side of me for classical, and this type of stuff,
don't let it get you down when people don't take much notice on here, or the world, create the music for yourself, and for you own self , enjoy what you are doing, and if it takes you somewhere even better.

Wow, I am listening to your music now and feel like Im going to take off,!!!!!

Dont worry Tim.Your music didnt fit into their little WORLD.So glad the universe is infinite and who cares about rejection from tasteless corporate vultures who want to make money off your music.Keep expanding(like the universe)to possibilities that are infinitely creative beyond your wildest dreams.....By the way, what is a chandos catalogue?

Hello Tim,

You've got a good feel for the kind of dramatic atmosphere required in a lot of film music, and you develop your pieces in ways that keep them listenable without distracting from the mood. There's coherence in your work. The film idea has clearly been a good way in to composing for you. It sounds to me like you're ready to stretch out a bit. I'd like to hear you try something at a crisper tempo, for instance.

It can also be good to give yourself some semi-arbitrary rule to force yourself in a new direction. It can be as simple as deciding to use a diminished chord somewhere in the piece. Or setting an arbitrary running time (make a 90 second miniature that doesn't sound like a TV jingle). Little challenges like that can work wonders.

Keep up the good work.

"The Morning of Surrender" would be a fabulous song to accompany that silent film masterpiece "Napoleon".....it is strong but hopeful. Wonderful buildup of sound, but consistently listenable.
Well done!

I was just listening to " The Cruel Sea ", now if only I had a boat. Not to mention water. I also played " Mariner " and " Adventure " , only thing missing is the movies to put them to. Beautiful and inspiring to hear. Sometimes the soundtrack don't always have to be in your face. I will continue to listen to your works.

Hi Tim,

Hope all goes fine with you and your work. As you can see in your music stats I've been listening to the beautiful "Cradle of Humanity" again and again. Sad to say that I have not been able to see the video you've attached, yet. Wish you good luck.
Yours / Mehdi
